I love to host parties. I am sure I have said this before, but I really, really do. There is something wonderful about bringing great people together, and having them enjoy whatever I have planned for them, food, games, music and whatever else I think up. A few years back, I decided to monetize that love by hosting a pop-up restaurant. It was a Father’s Day Brunch, hosted the Saturday before Father’s Day. Like the parties I host in my home, I was thoughtful about the menu, the décor, and the guests. On the menu, guests had the choice of Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp & Grits, Pecan Praline French Toast, Spinach & Turkey Bacon Quiche, or Mushroom & Goat Cheese Quiche. All the items were a hit, but the recipe I am sharing with you today was so loved a guest asked to purchase everything that was left to take home with them.
Like the frittata from a few weeks ago, the quiche is a favorite because the possibilities to customize are endless! The recipe I am sharing today uses mushrooms and goat cheese as its stars. If you are not a fan of this combination, here are a few other flavor combination suggestions; Bacon & Cheddar, Spinach & Feta, Sausage, Pepper & Onion, Butternut Squash, Basil & Goat Cheese. The list could go on and on! Share your favorite Quiche fillings below, and enjoy another recipe from Our Favorite Brunch menu.
